Zonya and I were commended in January, 1995 in the Burgessville area and have spent the majority of the past 26 years working in ‘new work’ in Southwestern Ontario.

Shortly after being commended we moved to Straffordville to work with a small, 120-year old assembly – with only nine in fellowship, all over the age of 65.  After 7 years, working mainly among a strong Mennonite population, the assembly had grown to about 30 with about 15 believers sitting back. This resulted in a good size Sunday School as well.

We then moved, in 2002, to Leamington with Bert and Michelle Snippe, again working predominately among the Mennonites.  The Lord worked mightily and shortly thereafter an assembly was established and continues there today.

Four years later, in 2005, we moved again – this time to the West Lorne area and laboured there for many years.

2013 brought us to Blenheim, Ontario and then in September 2021 the Lord moved us again to Courtland to strengthen and up-build the small assembly in Delmer and work in evangelism in the surrounding Tillsonburg area.  We are once again back in a Mennonite area as well as a very strong Dutch reformed population. The Lord has brought us in contact with a number of couples searching for truth.  Time is still spent in visitation and in-home Bible studies.  Zonya also spends much time teaching young people and being a help and blessing to younger mothers.

We have been blessed with 4 children – Victoria (and her husband Michael Younan), Austin (and his wife Melanie), Nelson, and Isaiah.

We thank the Lord for His provision and blessing all these years and look to Him for continued direction.
