We were commended from the James St assembly in Newtownards, Northern Ireland in 1998. Initially lived for 6 Years in the city of Novo Hamburgo and then moved to our present home in Sapiranga at the close of 2004. The work in Sapiranga had been commenced before our arrival in Brazil and we are thankful for the Lords blessing in the work. The assembly was formed in June 2006 and has now 19 members. We continue to sow the Good Seed in the Gospel in regular series of Gospel meetings and also in an encouraging Sunday School work, where many children with no other links with the Gospel have been taught about the message of Salvation in Christ. About half of my time is spent labouring in our home town and the surrounding region of the Vale do Sinos. The rest of the time is spent areas further from home in various parts of our State of Rio Grande do Sul and into the neighbouring State of Santa Catarina. We have 5 of a family – Jonathan and Rebecca were born in Northern Ireland, David was born shortly after our arrival in Brazil and our twins, Rachel and Ruth in 2001.
