My wife and I are very thankful to God for His grace and kindness to us. My parents have been full time workers for the Lord since 1950 in Newfoundland and Labrador, where I grew up. Rachel was raised in Augusta, Maine by faithful parents, Jim and Lois Thompson, who are committed to God and His assembly there. We married in 1992 and were commended to the Lords work in 1996 by the assemblies in Corner Brook and Rocky Harbour, NL. We served the Lord for three years on the island of Fogo and sought to build up the small assembly located there. Then we moved to the town of Grand Falls-Windsor in central NL. The Lord was pleased to save a few, and the believers in the area travel to the assembly in Gander. In the year 2004 we moved to the Toronto area and initially helped Stephen Vance in the Chinese work in Agincourt. Once the assembly was planted, we began to focus more on our home area, Oak Ridges in Richmond Hill. With the help of local believers from the Langstaff assembly, we have been able to share the gospel in a number of ways, including tent efforts, local fairs, park outreaches, community suppers, childrens work, and gospel meetings. In later years I have accepted more invitations to help assemblies in other areas in the spread of the gospel, while at the same time seeking to remain faithful to the work here. We value your prayers as we seek to serve the Lord with our four children in the spreading of the glorious gospel of His Son.
