In many cases with the passing of a loved one, the family will indicated a preference for a donation to Gospel Trust Canada in lieu of flowers etc. In support of this request we have made a straight forward way for you to do this online through this website.
In the main Worker page we have created a shortcut button “Unlisted Worker / In Memoriam” which will take you directly to an entry page for your donation.
For donations in memoriam, enter your donation amount and then in the Recipient field the name of the loved one you are making the donation to honor. When contact information for the family is known, GTC will notify them of the donation (minus names of donors where anonymous is desired). The family will then be given the option of how the amounts should be allocated by Gospel Trust and the donated funds will then be distributed.
For step-by-step instructions see below:
- Click on https://www.gospeltrust.ca/worker/unlisted-worker/
- Once you are here, you will be able to enter your donation amount and the name of loved one the donation is in memory of.
- Click the box “Anonymous” if you want this donation to be anonymous – if you do, your donation remains anonymous but will still allow Gospel Trust Canada to send you a tax receipt at the end of the year.
- Then click “Add Donation”. This will add the donation to your cart.
- When brought to the next page, please click “View Cart”. This will show you your donation amount as well as the name of the loved one the donation is in memory of.
- Then click “Proceed to Checkout”. On this page you will need to fill out your name and address in order to get your charitable donation receipt sent to you at the end of the year. You also will fill in your email address here. You then choose the payment method.
- Depending on the payment method you chose, instructions are given for each one respectively. You may pay by PayPal, credit card, cheque, or an e-transfer.
